About the Instructor – MgA. Barbora Heřmanová
Barbora Heřmanová studied graphic arts at the University of Ostrava under the guidance of Professor Eduard Ovčáček and completed a study exchange at the University of Warsaw.
She specializes in linocut and blind embossing, creating low-relief prints on paper using matrices made with the linocut technique. Her work is characterized by stylization and color minimalism, often incorporating simple color accents.
She regularly participates in international graphic competitions and exhibitions. Since 2021, she has been a member of SČUG Hollar, a renowned association of Czech graphic artists. She lives and works in České Budějovice.
