The Winter Trial Arrives at Port 1560
On Sunday, January 26, the legendary long-distance vintage car rally, The Winter Trial, will start near Salzburg, Austria. Participants in this prestigious competition will cover approximately 2,500 kilometers over six days, passing through the Italian Dolomites, Slovenia, and the Austrian Alps. Along their route, they will also stop in South Bohemia, where they will take on a night stage on the Rally Český Krumlov tracks.
Before that, the crews will make a stop at Port 1560, where spectators will have the chance to admire unique vintage cars from world-famous brands such as Bentley, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Volvo, BMW, MG, and Triumph. This exhibition will take place on Thursday, January 30, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Port 1560 Visitor Center.
While the racers enjoy dinner at the Brewery Restaurant, don’t miss this unique opportunity to see these historic automotive gems in action. Among the three dozen elite international crews, three pairs from the South Bohemian ČK Motorsport team will also take part.
