During the International Music Festival Český Krumlov (July 12th - August 3rd), the "Famous Czech Composers" exhibition will be on display at the Visitors' Center, showcasing the works of Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, Leoš Janáček, and Bohuslav Martinů.
The exhibition is in Czech, but the receptionist will provide the text in English upon request.
In addition to details about the composers' artistic achievements, visitors will also learn about their childhoods, personal lives, and sources of inspiration. The information is complemented by black-and-white illustrations by Alexey Klyuykov.
An interactive panel awaits visitors on the upper floor of the Visitors' Center, where they can listen to recordings of the most famous works of all four composers.
The Visitors' Center is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The exhibition is free of charge.
