About the Festival:
The last weekend of September is all about welcoming the arrival of autumn. The town plays host to the St. Wenceslas Celebrations and the International Folklore Festival.

The traditional autumn festivities offer not only cultural but also rich gastronomic experience. The celebrations in honour of St. Wenceslas, the patron saint of the Czech land, as well as all brewers and winemakers, are accompanied by plenty of good food, drinks, entertainment, a varied programme for families with children, concerts, guided tours and the St. Wenceslas evening of open museums and galleries.

The pleasant atmosphere of the festivities is completed by the St. Wenceslas Fair and a parade of folklore groups, which will perform at several places throughout the historic centre as part of the International Folklore Festival and will make many spectators dance along.
