Port 1560 and the Association of Czech Graphic Artists HOLLAR Prague opened an exhibition with the mysterious title 'Beings' (Bytosti).
Since birth, it is believed that beings watch over us, whether they are fairy godmothers, dangerous witches, or guardian angels. As we grow up, we encounter beings of various types and characters—some are kind while others are treacherous, some courageous, some cowardly, or sometimes both. The world is filled with mythical as well as cosmic beings. We are also surrounded by seemingly ordinary beings we meet daily on the streets, but upon closer inspection, we often find that beneath the surface of everydayness lies a surprisingly interesting being...
