South Bohemia Through the Eyes of Hollar Members: Guided Tour with Pavel Piekar

The gallery at Port 1560, in cooperation with the Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar, invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition "South Bohemia Through the Eyes of Hollar Members".

The tour will be led by Pavel Piekar (b. 1960), a renowned Czech graphic artist and master of linocut printing. Piekar has been working with this technique since 1983, and his work includes landscapes, portraits, architecture, and depictions of Italian cities. As part of the exhibition, he will showcase how the South Bohemian landscape inspires contemporary Hollar members and their artistic creations.

The exhibition highlights unique interpretations of South Bohemia, blending various artistic techniques and styles. The diverse selection of graphic prints reveals a range of perspectives, from realistic depictions to stylization and abstraction.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Port 1560 Visitor Center, no later than seven days before the event. In case of low interest, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the event.
